TCV is holding its annual Contract Market yet again this year, one of the best positioned and evaluated events of its kind for tour operators in Spain. The TCV Contract Market is held on the day prior to the opening day of the fair, Thursday February 25th. A total of 66 tourist sellers are taking part this year and over 70 buyers from both here in Spain and abroad, among which we could highlight Thomas Cook, Booking, Eventives, Squirrel Travel, Kuoni, Expedia and Marraketa Tours, among others.

From February 26th to 29th, Feria Valencia is hosting the 6th International Tourism Exhibition of the Valencian Community

While tourism, like other sectors in the economy, is suffering the effects of the current downturn, from February 26th to 29th TCV (International Tourism Exhibition of the Valencian Community) will be showcasing an edition full of new features and with the satisfaction of maintaining the same level of participation as in previous editions.

TCV 2009 has made over one hundred bicycles available for rent which are already on view on the streets of Valencia. This latest action is part of the fair's promotional campaign which is designed to involve the city more closely with the fair.

From 28th January to 1st February, the International Tourism Exhibition of the Valencian Community, TCV, took part at FITUR 2009. The mission of TCV was to attract potential exhibitors to the current edition taking place in Feria Valencia from 3rd through 5th April.

Thanks to its participation at this leading Spanish fair, TCV has managed to broaden its offer and attracted various different Spanish and international exhibitors.

2008 closed by consolidating the formidable results registered in 2007, especially when bearing in mind that last year was exceptional in terms of the celebration of large-scale events.

If we add the adverse economic situation experienced last year, we can consider the data to be doubly positive, given that the significant growth rate experienced in 2007 was maintained. The city is maintaining the progress in the tourist sector begun the previous year.

Valencia, Jan. 19 (EFE).- The US company Delta Air Lines is launching its first direct flight from Valencia to New York on 6th June. With an estimated flight time of 8 hours and a frequency of four flights per week, 30,000 passengers are expected by the end of the year.
